Websites for Lower Mainland businesses that need to be found.

Fast, mobile-first sites for small businesses, schools and non-profits across Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam and the rest of the Lower Mainland — written from what you already have, built to show up in local search, and hosted so you own it outright.

What you get

Several hundred sites since 1996.

Built for the phone first

Most people who find you are on a phone, so that is where the design starts — then it opens up for the desktop.

Set up to be found

Page titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap and Google Search Console set up properly from day one, because a local business lives or dies on local search.

Written from what you already have

Brochures, Word documents, price lists — turned into clear pages your customers can actually use.

You own it, no monthly platform bill

Static sites on AWS cost pennies to host and have nothing to patch or hack. No page-builder subscription.

Video and photos, done in-house

Drone footage, promo cuts and highlight reels shot and edited by the same person who builds the page.

Recent sites

Built, shipped, and still running.

Rail & Sail Montessori House

Website for a Richmond Montessori school — built from the school's own documents and deployed onto AWS end to end.

railandsailmh.ca

The Rail and Sail Montessori House website home page.
Eight pages, statically exported, served from CloudFront.

A small school had its curriculum, staff biographies and registration material sitting in a folder of Word documents. The job was to turn that into a site parents could use on a phone while deciding where to send their child.

  • Eight pages written from the school's own source documents
  • Structured data, Open Graph and per-page metadata, because a preschool lives or dies on local search
  • The BC childcare subsidy linked straight to the government source, so it cannot go stale
  • Statically exported to S3 and CloudFront — nothing to patch, nothing to go down at 2am

Result — the school owns its site and its hosting outright, with no monthly subscription to anyone.

Zero Cut Tax Disability Society

Public website for a Coquitlam non-profit helping people claim the Disability Tax Credit. Pro bono.

zerocuttaxsociety.ca

The Zero Cut Tax Disability Society website home page.
Plain language first, no trackers, no build step.

The audience is people navigating a federal benefits process while unwell, often on an old phone over a slow connection, and the site doubles as the society's credibility for grant applications.

  • Twelve hand-built pages covering eligibility, the application, denials, and rights
  • Written for plain-language reading and screen readers first
  • No third-party requests, no trackers, no database
  • Handed over with a README a volunteer can follow

Result — a site that works on an old phone over a slow connection and stands as the society's credibility for federal grants.

Questions people ask first

Straight answers before the first call.

Do you use WordPress or Wix?

Usually neither. A hand-built static site loads faster, can't be hacked through a plugin, and costs almost nothing to host. If you need to edit content often, we'll pick something that fits.

Will it show up on Google?

It will be built and submitted properly — metadata, structured data, sitemap and Search Console. Ranking also depends on your reviews and Google Business Profile, and I'll set those up with you.

Who owns the site?

You do — the files, the domain and the hosting account.

Do you work with non-profits?

Yes. The Zero Cut Tax Disability Society site in Coquitlam was built pro bono.

Other work I take on

Need a site that actually brings in calls?

Tell me what your business does and who you want to reach. If I'm not the right person for it, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
